TRAINING

2-Part Course

This is a 10-hour training program primarily intended for entry level workers. The 30-hour training program is intended to provide workers with some safety responsibility a greater depth and variety of training. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards. 

 

The topics include:

  • Slip, Trip and Fall Hazard Protection       

  • Ladder Safety

  • Fire Prevention, Protection and Emergency Egress Safety

  • Dangers of Electrical Hazards

  • Using and Choosing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

  • Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Protection Plans, & Fire Protection

  • Introduction to Ergonomics

  • Dangers of Unguarded Equipment

  • Materials Handling, Storage, Use and Disposal

  • Introduction to OSHA
